18 May 2026

  • Studio: AI stylise in Export → AI styles. Pick a preset (glossy 3D, neon, metallic, watercolor, flat gradient, and more) or describe a custom look; download a 1024×1024 PNG of your lattice logo.
  • Studio includes 10 AI stylise generations per calendar month, with an optional $4.99 top-up for 30 more when you are running low. Saved results appear in your Studio dashboard for re-download.
  • Removed the 3-day free trial; Studio is available with monthly or yearly billing at checkout. This is to remove abuse of the AI stylise feature.
  • New export dialog with a live preview, format tabs (SVG, PNG, app icons, social, AI styles), and optional whole-canvas vs selection export when shapes are selected.
  • PNG exports support transparent, white, black, or brand-fill backgrounds, plus padding and corner radius on the export frame (50% on a square yields a circle).
  • Download favicon-web.zip from the PNG tab: standard favicon and touch-icon PNG sizes plus a site.webmanifest, using your chosen background, padding, and corner radius.
  • Social tab exports Open Graph, Twitter / X, Instagram square, and LinkedIn sizes with the same background, padding, and corner radius controls as PNG.
  • Studio: download app-icons.zip with an iOS AppIcon.appiconset, Android launcher mipmaps, and a 512px Play Store icon. Pick solid or gradient backgrounds, logo padding, and corner radius before export.
  • Save projects from a dedicated Save button in the function bar (floppy disk icon next to Export); Open .logolattice stays under Import.

17 May 2026

  • Shape layering from the right-click menu: Bring to front, Bring forward, Send backward, and Send to back control draw order when shapes overlap.
  • With several shapes selected, layering commands move the whole selection together and keep their order relative to each other.
  • New Explore page lists every marketing and legal page in one place.
  • Upcoming features and Known issues pages added.
  • Payment information page explains Studio billing through Dodo Payments.
  • Yearly Studio billing is supported as a separate subscription product (two months free compared to paying monthly).

16 May 2026

  • Export SVG or PNG for the whole canvas or only the current selection when shapes are selected.
  • Shift-click or Shift-drag to add or remove shapes from the selection.
  • Logo Lattice Studio: sign in, open a project dashboard, and sync logos to the cloud with Studio.
  • Privacy policy and terms of service pages, plus a shared footer on guides, features, and legal pages.
  • Buy Me a Coffee support widget replaces Ko-Fi.

15 May 2026

  • Save and reopen projects as ".logolattice" files: download your canvas from the function bar, then Open .logolattice under Import to load it again (shapes, grid, styles, and viewport are included).
  • Grid overlay menu: optional "Grid above shapes" so grid lines draw on top of fills and strokes when you need to see alignment; turn it off so artwork covers the grid for a cleaner look. Auto toggles on when you select the cutout tool.
  • Dark mode support added to the site.
  • Isometric overlay: pick Cube (vertical, horizontal, and 45° lines) or Triangular (30° diagonals forming equilateral triangles). Triangular hides vertical guides but still snaps to the full lattice; both styles support half-cell drawing.
  • Square grid snap and drawing now use half-cell steps (corners, edge midpoints, and cell centres), with 45° diagonals for angled segments.
  • Fixed cube isometric strokes drifting into zigzags when drawing straight vertical or horizontal lines.
  • Fixed the line tool discarding a path when you loop back to the starting point; closing at the start now commits the stroke.

14 May 2026

  • Added guides to the site, with step-by-step instructions for creating geometric, isometric, stroke, curved, and negative-space logos.
  • Added a features page that lists everything Logo Lattice can do, grouped by category, with the same icons used in the editor.
  • Curve tool corner handles now appear only at real corners, not along straight edges between them.
  • Exported SVG and PNG now join open strokes the same way they appear on the canvas, including at corners where line segments meet.
  • Connected drawing-tool strokes are merged into a single path on export so corners stay clean instead of showing gaps.
  • Stroke-only shapes no longer export with a fill, so transparent PNGs match what you see while editing.
  • Grid size control removed from the top function bar for a simpler grid overlay menu.

13 May 2026

  • Added a change log page to the site, showing updates grouped by release day.
  • Select a shape and use the box around it to move, resize, or rotate - hold Shift while resizing to keep the proportions.
  • Turn on Advanced select to adjust individual corners on simple shapes, one point at a time.
  • Draw single open lines with the drawing tool, not only closed shapes.
  • Round corners by dragging the small handles that appear on selected shapes.
  • Stroke and fill colours now live in their own floating Style panel you can move around the canvas.
  • Freehand smoothing also softens open lines when placement is set to Free.
  • The toolbar updates to show what you are using - cutout mode, curve options, and your chosen shape.
  • Curve and draw/cutout settings moved into each tool's hover menu for a tidier top bar.
  • A note was added that mobile is not fully supported yet.

12 May 2026

  • The toolbar and top tool strip can be dragged and placed where you prefer on the canvas.
  • The logo in the corner no longer intercepts clicks while you are working.
  • Updated the image shown when the site is shared on social media.

11 May 2026

  • Added quick shapes - triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, circle, and star - from the shape tool.
  • Hover any tool to see a short explanation and its keyboard shortcut.
  • Choose whether new geometry snaps to the grid or moves freely.
  • Optional smoothing for hand-drawn strokes in free placement mode.
  • Box-select several shapes at once on the canvas.
  • Tooltips and touch-friendly hover panels across the editor.
  • Support links on X for feedback and bug reports.
  • A way to support the project through Ko-fi.

10 May 2026

  • New curve tool for smooth arcs between two points.
  • Option to fill the patch between a curve and its straight edge.
  • A dedicated toolbar on the left with draw, select, pan, and related tools.
  • Keyboard shortcut badges shown in tool descriptions.
  • Clearer grouping between tool sections in the interface.

  • Draw snapped polygons, cut holes, export to SVG or PNG, and undo your changes.
  • Site title, description, and sharing previews set up for logolattice.com.
