Features

What you can do in Logo Lattice, from snapped drawing to export.

Follow on to get updates and support

Drawing and shapes

  • Snapped polygon drawing

Click to place vertices on the grid and close strokes into clean polygons. Half-cell steps on the square grid; cube and triangular isometric styles support half-cell drawing along their axes.

  • Cutout holes

Switch the draw brush to cutout to punch transparent holes through existing geometry instead of adding new filled areas.

  • Open stroke drawing

Drag to draw a single open line, or loop back to the start to close the path. On the grid it follows snap lines and half-cell steps; in free placement it behaves more like pen on paper.

  • Quick preset shapes

Drop in triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, circle, or star primitives, then drag on the canvas to size them.

  • Curve segments

Drag between two points to add smooth arcs. Optionally fill the patch between the chord and the arc with your current fill colour.

  • Corner fillets

Round corners by dragging handles on selected shapes, set a default radius, or apply one radius to every corner at once.

Selection and editing

  • Bounding box transforms

Move, resize, and rotate selected shapes with the box around them. Hold Shift while resizing to keep proportions locked.

  • Box select

Drag on empty canvas to select every shape whose bounds intersect the rectangle.

  • Advanced vertex editing

Turn on Advanced select to reshape simple closed polygons one vertex at a time with cyan handles.

  • Shape layering

Right-click selected shapes to bring to front, bring forward, send backward, or send to back. With several shapes selected, layering moves the whole group and keeps their order relative to each other.

  • Undo and redo

Step through your edit history with toolbar buttons or standard keyboard shortcuts.

Canvas and placement

  • Square grid

Square overlay snaps to half-cell points - corners, edge midpoints, and cell centres - with horizontal, vertical, and 45° constrained drawing.

  • Isometric Cube and Triangular grids

Isometric overlay with two styles: Cube (vertical, horizontal, and 45° lines for blocky 3D forms) or Triangular (30° diagonals forming equilateral triangles, with diagonal guides only). Both support half-cell drawing along their snap axes.

  • Grid above shapes

In the Grid overlay menu, turn on "Grid above shapes" when you want lines on top of fills and strokes for alignment; leave it off so geometry covers the grid for a cleaner preview. Your choice is saved with the session. Auto toggles on when you select the cutout tool.

  • Dark mode

Switch between light and dark themes from the function bar to match your environment.

  • Snap to grid or free move

Lock drawing, shapes, moves, and vertex edits to the overlay grid, or hide the grid and work with continuous coordinates.

  • Freehand smoothing

In free placement mode, gently soften hand-drawn polygons and open lines when you finish a stroke.

  • Pan and zoom

Navigate the canvas with the pan tool or hold Space for temporary panning while another tool is active.

  • Floating toolbars

Drag the left tool strip and top function bar wherever you want them on the canvas.

Style and export

  • Floating style panel

Adjust stroke width, stroke colour, and fill colour from a movable Style panel on the canvas.

  • Export dialog

Open Export from the function bar to preview your artwork, switch between SVG, PNG, app icons, social, and AI styles tabs, and download the whole canvas or only the current selection.

  • SVG export

Download clean vector SVG with connected strokes merged into single paths so corners stay sharp at any scale.

  • PNG export

Raster PNG with transparent, white, black, or brand-fill backgrounds. Adjust padding and corner radius on the export frame. Free accounts export at 200×200 px; Studio exports at 1000×1000 px.

  • Favicon and web package

From the PNG tab, download favicon-web.zip with common favicon and touch-icon sizes plus a site.webmanifest, using your PNG background, padding, and corner radius settings.

  • Social image export

Export preset sizes for Open Graph, Twitter / X, Instagram square, and LinkedIn from the Social tab, with the same background, padding, and corner radius controls as PNG.

  • App icon export

Studio subscribers download app-icons.zip with an iOS AppIcon.appiconset (and Contents.json), Android mipmap launcher icons, and a 512px Play Store asset. Choose solid or gradient backgrounds, logo padding, and corner radius.

  • AI stylise export

Studio subscribers generate stylised 1024×1024 PNGs from the AI styles tab. Pick a preset or write a custom prompt (10–400 characters). Ten generations per calendar month are included; optional $4.99 top-ups add 30 more.

  • AI stylise gallery

Saved AI stylised logos appear in your Studio dashboard so you can download PNGs again without returning to the editor.

Workflow

  • Keyboard shortcuts

Number keys switch tools quickly. Hover any tool to see its shortcut and a short explanation.

  • Session persistence

Your canvas, tool choices, and panel positions are saved locally so you can pick up where you left off.

  • Save and open projects

Export your work as a ".logolattice" file from the function bar, then import it later to restore shapes, grid settings, styles, and viewport.

  • Change log

Follow day-by-day release notes when new tools and fixes ship.
